1. Personal data we collect
Dogiary does not ask for your name, email or phone number and does not create accounts. The information below is stored and processed only on your phone so the app can work.

This data lives in the app's private storage; other apps cannot access it.
2. Data that leaves the device

Apart from those listed above, no analytics, crash-reporting tools or servers of our own are used.
3. Health Connect (optional)
Only if you turn on the Health Connect switch in the Profile tab, Dogiary writes each finished walk's exercise session, distance and step count to Android Health Connect. It does not read any other data from Health Connect. Turning the switch off stops further writes; records already written can be deleted in the Health Connect app.
4. Automatic backup
If Android auto backup is enabled on your phone, records, photos and settings are backed up to your Google account (Google Drive) and transferred to a new phone. This is an Android system feature and can be turned off in phone settings.
5. Permissions and why

6. How to delete your data
All Dogiary (developer: ecofamia) data lives on your phone, so you can delete it yourself — no request needed.
- A single walk: long-press the record in the Stats tab
- Dog profile: delete it in the Profile tab → Edit profile
- Everything at once: uninstalling the app deletes all records, photos and settings on the phone (any auto backup in your Google account can be removed in Android backup settings)
- Records written to Health Connect: delete them in the Health Connect app
Data deleted: everything listed in section 1 (profile, walk records, GPS route points, steps, settings, photos). There is no developer server, so none of this data is retained by the developer and there is no additional retention period. The only exception is the usage statistics in section 2 (Google Analytics for Firebase), which are not linked to your name or account and are deleted automatically when the Google Analytics retention period ends. 7. Children
Dogiary is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Not medical advice
Walk goals and weather guidance are reference information based on published breed guides and veterinary-charity resources, not diagnosis or treatment. If you are concerned about your dog's health, consult a vet.
9. Changes and contact
